Mass Effect 3 DLC included with action figures
Bioware have announced that included with their Mass Effect 3 action figures will be a piece of DLC for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
The DLC included with the selection of character figures ranges from new in-game characters to new and powerful weapons for the multiplayer portion of the game.
Together with these more significant downloads will be character boosters, weapon modifications and weapon upgrades. The type of DLC which will come in the pack is to be slightly randomised.
The models will stand at 6.6″ tall, and will be available from the Bioware store from April/May for $20.00. There will be eight different models to pick from, including Shepherd, Miranda, Tali and Garrus. Currently these models will only be available with DLC codes packed in for North American purchasers.
Many games journalists have taken a critical approach to the news that game content will be available with the purchase of a physical item, leading many to compare it to Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, a game which many see as more appropriately blending children’s toys with a game.
