The Greatest Video Game Music by The World’s Greatest Composer
Popping up on Spotify today, without much fanfare, is an album by Harry Gregson-Williams and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Chances are that even if you’re not familiar with the man himself you’ll no doubt be familiar with some of the films he’s soundtracked.
Quite frankly, it’s brilliant. Gregson-Williams created some of the soundtracks himself, but most are from the best loved games of the past decade. It’s worth listening to for the reworking of the Angry Birds theme tune alone.
